and wind conditions. temperatures right now 45 for downtown san francisco napa 33 for san arouse the vallejo is 34 and up towards the north we're talking temperatures run around freezing are close to it. oakland is that 44 san mateo is a 46, 39 for pleasanton, 34 in concord. tomorrow for what all those will be in the 30's and some of us will be in the '20s to morning. satellite and radar show us we have basically clear conditions overnight. we will stay dry for the most part. we have a slight chance for a shower keeping in mind for the most part we will be dry for today. you can see and parts of oregon they're getting snow. seattle is also reporting a dusting of snow this morning. >> winter weather advisory until noon today. get ready for the cold with the frost advisory. the surge to more morning until 8:00. you concede a frost advisory and the shoreline communities and also the interior eastern make communities. what this basically means is that it will be really cold. we're talking low 20's and 30's the mob. if you have plans, bring them and otherwise complete damage. future c

-50s in oakland. 53 in san francisco. 54 out in vallejo. and the rain makes the comeback here coming up shortly by the end of the week. so we'll show you a look at the seven-day forecast. we're talking traffic. here's gianna. >> we are going to head to our bay area bridge and you can see not too bad so far, so good as you work your way towards the toll plaza. we had some early morning roadwork on the upper deck between the cantilever section and fremont. that should be wrapped at least by 5:00. the rest of your bay area bridges problem-free including the golden gate bridge just north of there though south 101 near sir francis drake two lanes shut down for construction. that will be there at least until 6:00. but you can see the golden gate bridge smooth sailing into san francisco. the dumbarton bridge both directions only one lane open looks like you might see some slight delays. that should be wrapped up by 5:00 this morning as well. use the san mateo bridge as an alternate. also 880 not showing any delays north- or southbound. we have some roadwork reported in both directions right

. this is a live look outside as san francisco. >> we have isolated thunderstorms, showers and possibly hale are likely in the bay area this morning. let's check in with janu on current conditions. >> storm tracker 4 is completely lit up. we did have purpouring rain earlier. san rafael is game rain as well as novato. moderate downpours for half moon bay. as we pushed into the south bay we are getting heavy rain in the morgan hill area. east bay shore is sitting under wet weather. san ramon, danville and other areas are getting moderate downpours. moderate to heavy rain for the morning as well as lightning and the laundering. and afternoon will see the rain taper off. we will still seek breezy conditions for the evening. we do have another storm system that is headed our way. >> as you might imagine the holiday travel is off. nearly 100 flights were either canceled or delayed. we want to get you updated. will turn to mike pelton who is reporting live from s f o. >> the rain is really coming down here at the airport. it is once again causing delays. there is one hour and delays for some arrivi

towards san francisco wrapping up by 5:30. an accident in napa silverado trail add hardman. reports of a vehicle that hit the guardrail. chp heading out to the scene. injuries are reported. roadwork on the dumbarton bridge on the westbound side looks like that should be wrapping up within the next few minutes. cleared eastbound. no delays in the south bay. good northbound 101 through san jose, 280 guadalupe parkway no delays just yet. that's traffic. back to you. >> thank you. >>> recent rains are showing just how vulnerable our roadways can be. a new sinkhole is starting to form in the east bay. cbs 5 reporter elissa harrington reports. >> reporter: what maintenance crews are worried about is this stretch of road along marsh creek flowed clayton. this is video from the scene. they have closed that part of the road. the contra costa county public works department says the road is compromised because of rain. they say a culvert failed. it's closed between deer valley and pine lane. only local traffic gets through. they don't know when the road can reopen because they need to identify
